Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound kielbasa sliced
  • 2 cans 15 ounces each pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet or pot, sauté the onion and bell pepper over medium heat until softened.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced kielbasa, cooking until the sausage is browned.
  3. Stir in the pinto and kidney beans, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Pour in the barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce; stir to combine.
  5. Add the chili powder, salt, and pepper; mix thoroughly.
  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
