Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 12 frozen potstickers
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the ginger and garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and soy sauce.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Gently add the frozen potstickers to the broth.
  6. Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow cooking according to package instructions, usually 5-7 minutes.
  7. Add the spinach, carrots, and mushrooms, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Stir in the sesame oil and taste for seasoning.
  9. Serve hot in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions.
