Delightful Reindeer Cupcakes for Festive Fun

Easy Reindeer Cupcakes made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 batch chocolate frosting
  • 2 cups pretzel twists
  • 1 cup candy eyes
  • 12 red M&M’s

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until well blended.
  3. Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Once the cupcakes are cool, frost each cupcake generously with chocolate frosting.
  6. Press two pretzel twists into the frosting of each cupcake to create antlers.
  7. Add two candy eyes and one red M&M on each cupcake to create the reindeer face.
  8. Serve your delightful reindeer cupcakes to friends and family, and watch them smile!
