Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  • Form the dough into a log and wrap it in plastic wrap, refrigerating for at least 30 minutes.
