  • 1 lb sausage sliced
  • 4 cups potatoes diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.

Cooking
  1. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  2. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil, stir the mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Finishing and Serving
  1. Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and stir in sour cream and green onions before serving.
