A flavorful and hearty dish made with red beans, sausages, and Cajun spices, cooked slowly to perfection.
Ingredients

- 1 Pound Dried Red Beans
- 1 Link Andouille Sausage, quartered
- 2 Links Smoked Sausage, sliced
- 1 Each Yellow Onion, diced
- 1 Rib Celery, diced
- 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 3 Each Bay Leaves
- 6 Cups Water
- 2 Each Beef Bouillon Cubes
- 1 Tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a 5 quart (or bigger) slow cooker.
- Give a good stir, cover with the lid and cook on high for 6 hours.
- Depending on how creamy you like your red beans, you can mash some of the beans against the side of the pot to add creaminess.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Serve with rice for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
