Description

A fun and portable banana pudding dessert served in snack bags or cups.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (3.4 ounce) Instant banana cream pudding
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 12 individual packages (1 ounce each) mini Nilla Wafers
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant pudding and milk. Whisk vigorously for 2 minutes until thickened, then place in the fridge for 5 minutes to set.
  2. While the pudding chills, in another bowl combine the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. With an electric mixer, beat until stiff peaks have formed.
  3. Using scissors, carefully cut the top across the seam of the mini Nilla wafer packs. Empty out the wafers into a bowl. Fold over the top opening of the bags to form a 1/2″ collar.
  4. Put a few of the cookies back into the bottom of each Nilla wafer bag, then top with a spoonful of pudding, a spoonful of whipped cream, and a couple slices of bananas. Repeat those layers until full to the top.
  5. Finish with a couple Nilla wafers and banana slices for presentation, if desired.
  6. Serve with disposable plastic spoons for easy clean-up.

  • These can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
