Description
A comforting and hearty hobo casserole made with ground beef and potatoes, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink.
- In a large baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, followed by the cooked ground beef mixture.
- Add the drained green beans on top of the beef.
- Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the green beans.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or carrots for extra flavor.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
