- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the bourbon and let it simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add the heavy cream and stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the steaks to the skillet, coating them with the sauce.
- Serve the steaks garnished with fresh parsley and additional sauce on top.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
- Let the bourbon simmer to cook off some of the alcohol if desired.
