Description

A quick and delicious shrimp and asparagus stir-fry with mushrooms, perfect for a healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add asparagus and mushrooms, and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, and stir to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
  • Can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein.
  • Fresh asparagus is recommended for the best flavor.
