- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium bananas)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
