Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium bananas)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
