Description
Ranch Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the creamy tang of ranch dressing with the savory flavors of garlic and parmesan, perfect for grilling.
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh parsley, chopped)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional for extra tang)
- 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ranch dressing, grated parmesan cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, dried parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice (if using) to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the skewers for added flavor and nutrition.
- These skewers can be served with a side of salad or your favorite dipping sauce.
