Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  5. Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Add orzo pasta and cooked chicken back to the skillet.
  7. Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until orzo is tender.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
