Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer.
- Add orzo pasta and cooked chicken back to the skillet.
- Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until orzo is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream before serving.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
