- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley (optional), for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the ground beef until browned.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Fold the cooked penne into the skillet with the beef mixture. Add additional melted butter if desired.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted; add Parmesan for extra flavor.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if using.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
