Ingredients

  • 1 (8-10 pound) fully cooked bone-in ham
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground juniper berries
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, juniper berries, cloves, and black pepper to create the honey ham glaze.
  4. Brush half of the honey ham glaze generously over the surface of the ham.
  5. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.
  6. Roast for 1.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining honey ham glaze.
  7. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  8. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
  9. Let the honey glazed ham rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
  10. Slice and serve your delicious honey ham.
