Description

A delicious and healthy homemade version of Twix bars that are gluten-free and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Almond Flour
  • 3 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ⅓ cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup Almond Flour
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Coconut Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together almond flour, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to form the shortbread base.
  3. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  4. In another bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond flour to make the caramel filling.
  5. Spread the caramel filling over the baked shortbread base and refrigerate until set.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together until smooth.
  7. Pour the chocolate mixture over the set caramel layer and spread evenly.
  8. Refrigerate again until the chocolate is firm.
  9. Cut into bars and enjoy your healthy Twix bars!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • For a vegan option, use plant-based butter and dairy-free chocolate chips.
