A delicious and healthy homemade version of Twix bars that are gluten-free and easy to make.

- 1 ½ cups Almond Flour
- 3 tablespoons Butter, melted
- 1 ½ tablespoons Maple Syrup
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- ⅓ cup Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ cup Almond Flour
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 ½ tablespoons Coconut Oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together almond flour, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to form the shortbread base.
- Press the mixture into a lined baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- In another bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond flour to make the caramel filling.
- Spread the caramel filling over the baked shortbread base and refrigerate until set.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the set caramel layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate again until the chocolate is firm.
- Cut into bars and enjoy your healthy Twix bars!
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- For a vegan option, use plant-based butter and dairy-free chocolate chips.
