- 2 lbs chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 8 oz noodles (your choice)
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chicken broth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the sauce in the crockpot to thicken.
- Add the shredded chicken back into the crockpot and stir to combine.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions and serve the chicken over the noodles.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- This dish can be made with chicken breasts instead of thighs if preferred.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
