Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in the Crock Pot.
  3. Pour the bourbon mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
