- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over them. Ensure they are evenly coated and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F) or your oven to 425°F.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through (internal temp of 165°F). If baking, place on a lined baking sheet and cook for about 20-25 minutes.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with any leftover marinade and garnish with fresh herbs.
