Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or crushed San Marzano tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ball fresh burrata cheese (about 4 ounces)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Extra olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
