This burrata pizza recipe features a creamy burrata cheese center, topped with fresh basil and garlic.

- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or crushed San Marzano tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 ball fresh burrata cheese (about 4 ounces)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Extra olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Brush the dough with olive oil, sprinkle minced garlic, spread pizza sauce, add mozzarella cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the pizza, tear burrata over the hot pizza, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Garnish with basil, drizzle with olive oil, slice, and serve.
