Description

Quick and satisfying wraps filled with juicy air-fried chicken and gooey mozzarella, perfect for a weekday supper.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb / 450 g)
  • 8 oz (225 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps (810 inch / 2025 cm)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 cups lettuce or baby spinach, washed and dried
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Lay out the tortillas or wraps on a clean surface.
  6. Place the sliced chicken, mozzarella cheese, lettuce (or spinach), and tomato slices in the center of each wrap.
  7. Roll up the wraps tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  8. Return the wraps to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the wraps are golden and crispy.
  9. Slice the wraps in half and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding pickles or slaw for crunch. Make the chicken ahead of time for easy assembly.
